The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
